The Romanian Center for European Polices (CRPE) and the Academic Society of Romania (SAR) released a study that aims to evaluate the effectiveness and performance of the Mechanism for Cooperation and Verification (MCV) in the area of justice agreed upon by the European Union and Romania, analyzing the factors that have facilitated the acceptance and implementation of EU conditions.

EU – Moldova negotiations What is to be discussed, what could be achieved?

The report presents some arguments supporting the exceptional case of Moldova within the Eastern Partnership. If the EU is willing to confirm its commitment concerning the Eastern dimension of the ENP and its availability to make the Eastern Partnership a substantial policy, it wouldn't found a better occasion to encourage the currently adopted direction of Moldova. The European Union has committed to take a decision regarding the reduction of gas emissions with 30% by 2020 in comparison with the levels of emissions registered in 1990. Answering the challenge of having an European Voice- Romania and the Swedish Presidency of the Union

Sweden has taken the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The expectations of the Swedish Government are high, especially after the Czech Presidency, which was unanimously declared incoherent. Thus, the Swedish government boosted the stake choosing as a slogan "Taking on the challenges"/ Answering the challenges and announcing an ambitious agenda.

True Democratic Elections

In this report, CRPE has proposed solutions for the democratization of the European elections: Changing the voting system in order for the voters to have the possibility to choose between the incumbents of the same party, and
a commitment of the incumbents that they would not leave the European Parliament early than their regular mandate time.
