At the beginning of this month, Sweden has taken the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The expectations of the Swedish Government are high, especially after the Czech Presidency, which was unanimously declared incoherent. Thus, the Swedish government boosted the stake choosing as a slogan “Taking on the challenges”/ Answering the challenges and announcing an ambitious agenda. This document is part of a series of documents through which the Romanian Centre for European Policies analyzes the current agenda of the European Union and proposes positions for the Romanian government.
