Active citizenship – a powerful tool strengthening the rule of law

Active citizenship – a powerful tool strengthening the rule of law
Period of implementation: 1st of April 2015 – 1st of April 2016

Within the Active Citizenship – a powerful tool strengthening the rule of law project, Expert Forum, Romanian Center for European Policies, Freedom House and Liderjust aim to design and apply the tools through which citizens are becoming able to fight against corruption and bad governance.

We aim to operate on different levels of the Romanian society for the consolidation of the democratic status: young people, teachers, magistrates and journalists, experts and the academic field. We will be offering them a better understanding of the complex concept of the rule of law.

The project has also foreseen a number of meetings and debates involving citizens, experts and journalists on methods of deterring the dangers affecting the stability of a state.

More details about the project’s objectives and actions can be found here.
