Call for Applications: Spring School 2014

GOOD GOVERNANCE AS AN ESSENTIAL TOOL FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

April 1-4, 2014

 Program details:

The Seminar is open for Master students, PhD candidates as young professionals from the fields of European, political, social and international studies from all Universities of Moldova. The seminar will be held in English. We will offer certificates on the participation and lecturing, confirming the acquisition of 5 ECTS credits.

The Spring School on Good Governance in the context of the European Integration offers:

  • An interdisciplinary intensive course and a forum for students and young professionals.
  • Well-known lectures and experts from Tartu University from Estonia, State University and Romanian Centre for European Policy.
  • Joint lectures on thematic issues with the active contribution of participants, and cultural events, as well.

 

During the Summer School 30 students will be provided with the latest knowledge in the field of Good Governance. “Good Governance” is an issue of great importance for the quality of government understood as the manner and effects of exercising power, which basically comes down to the activity of administration. This factor largely affects the chances for the social and economic development of individual states.

The classes will be conducted by professors from the universities that participate in the project: theoreticians and practitioners of modern administration.

 

How to apply to the 2014 Spring School?

The application must include: CV; Motivation letter for participating in the Spring School;

Application deadline: 20th of March 2014;

The applicants will be informed about the results before 25th of March 2014.
