Taking into account the European aspirations of the Republic of Moldova, the European integration represents not only a vector of foreign and domestic policies, but also a major force of political and social cohesion. Thus, on April 27, 2014, the Republic of Moldova signed the Association Agreement with the EU. In the framework of the process of European integration, Moldova has to transpose the acquis. For now, the implementation of the European standards is an ongoing process, the main industrial sectors are still dominated by the GOST standards created in the ’70s and ’80s and no longer reflect today’s reality in terms of technical progress and administrative practices.
CRPE – R. Moldova and the National Standardization Institute launches the guide – “European standards – why are so important and what are the advantages?” in the framework of the project “Informing the public and stakeholders about European standards adopted in the framework of DCFTA”.
