Florin is a founding member of CRPE and is currently active in the DG Enlargement of the European Commission as International Desk Officer seconded from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His professional experience includes advisory and research assignments with the EADS vice-president for EU/NATO Affairs (Brussels, Munich and Paris) and the Transatlantic Department of the German Council of Foreign Relations. In 2007, he earned a Master in Public Policy program from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, where he specialized in public management and economics. He also holds a masters degree in International Relations and European Studies from the Institut Europeen des Hautes Etudes Internationales (Nice, Rome) and a BA/MA in Philosophy (Bucharest, Vienna, Tuebingen). Lucian LucaLucian works for the Romanian Academyu as a researcher in agriculture policies. He worked as a consultant for agriculture and development policies (with the World Bank between 1997 and 2003) He published studies on the CAP impact on Romania, the impact of direct payments on Romanian farm income and the distribution of EU subsidies and their social aspects. Mihai worked several years for the Romanian Finance Ministry, where he was directly involved in creating budgetary policies. In 2007 and 2008 he studied European Political Economy at the London School of Economics (LSE). He currently works for the European Parliament.

Robert has Master of Philosophy from the Centre for International Studies of Cambridge University. In 2007-2008 he was a member of the executive committee of Cambridge University Energy Network. Ioana MorovanWith a background in International Economic Relations, Ms. Morovan has eight years of experience in Romanian economic and financial media, with extensive coverage of the EU financial assistance area. She currently works as senior editor for EurActiv.ro and Hotnews.ro, where she manages the “euRofonduri” section, a special editorial projects targeting beneficiaries, consultants and authorities dealing with EU funds. Marina (MA CEU Budapest, PhD Essex UK) is currently a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Essex. She previously worked for as senior research officer at the University of Essex and as a lecturer at Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest (ELTE) and at the School of Public Policy of University College London. Co-author of Embodying Democracy: Electoral System Design in Post-Communist Europe (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2002) as well as chapters and articles in European and American publications on comparative politics, public opinion, voting behavior, media and information effects. In Romania, Ms. Popescu was involved in a number of projects including the organization of an OSI summer school in comparative methodology and political science for East European scholars and experts, workshops on electoral system reform, the vote advice application TestVot, the FP7 deliberative project Europolis and was an OSI International Policy Fellow, focusing on electoral reforms in Eastern Europe. She also worked as a consultant for the OSCE, teaching election officers in Bosnia-Herzegovina, for the Bucharest-based CURS polling company, and for the Romanian Ministry of European Integration.
